Pay Rate: $65/hr on W2

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN ICU to join our team in Kearney, NE, 68847 for 13 week contract. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Perform physical examinations and assess patients' conditions continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including intravenous therapy.
• Conduct medical documentation accurately using eClinicalWorks and maintain patient records.
• Manage airways effectively and perform airway management procedures when necessary.
• Assist with catheterization and spinal tap procedures as required.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Previous experience in an ICU or critical care setting is preferred.
• Proficient in medical documentation practices, particularly with eClinicalWorks software.
• Strong skills in airway management, catheterization, spinal tap, and medical imaging techniques.
• Ability to perform medical-surgical nursing tasks effectively within a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
