About the Roles
We are seeking experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses (RNs) for 13-week contracts in Grass Valley, San Bernardino, Mount Shasta, Red Bluff, and Merced, CA. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments while delivering compassionate care to expectant mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Provide expert nursing care for patients in the labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
✔ Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vitals, and contraction patterns.
✔ Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and emergency obstetric procedures.
✔ Administer medications, IV drips, and epidural anesthesia support.
✔ Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care.
✔ Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active and unrestricted California RN license.
✅ Minimum of 1 year of L&D nursing experience.
✅ Current BLS & ACLS certifications (NRP required).
Preferred:
✔ Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills.
✔ Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
✔ Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and advanced obstetric procedures.
