About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor & Delivery (L&D) assignment in Silverdale, WA. This position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate and high-quality care to expectant mothers and newborns in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
✔ Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vitals, and contraction patterns.
✔ Administer medications, epidurals, and IV fluids as prescribed.
✔ Assist in vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as needed.
✔ Educate and support mothers and families throughout the birthing process.
✔ Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals.
✔ Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active and unrestricted Washington RN license.
✅ Minimum of 2 years of L&D nursing experience.
✅ Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Preferred:
✔ Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
✔ Excellent patient education and communication skills.
✔ Experience in high-risk obstetric cases is a plus.
