Job Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – L&D/Well-Baby Nursery/Postpartum
- Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D), Well-Baby Nursery, Postpartum combined
- Start Date: 04/08/2025
- End Date: 07/08/2025 (13 Weeks)
- Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend, First to Float
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Location: Red Bluff, CA
Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or Well-Baby Nursery.
- Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)
- BLS
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- BSN: Not required
- License: Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience: Candidates must have prior experience in L&D and postpartum care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients in the Labor & Delivery, Well-Baby Nursery, and Postpartum units.
- Manage deliveries independently and provide critical care for high-risk pregnancies and newborns.
- Monitor fetal heart rate and other vital signs using advanced fetal monitoring.
- Assist with post-delivery care, including monitoring recovery and assisting with newborn care.
- Administer medications, fluids, and other necessary treatments.
- Participate in team efforts to manage patient care and ensure efficient unit operations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using Cerner EMR
