About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Bismarck, ND. This role involves providing comprehensive perinatal care to mothers and newborns in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Provide care and monitoring for laboring mothers throughout all stages of childbirth.
✔ Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
✔ Support mothers and newborns in postpartum recovery and newborn care.
✔ Administer medications, IV therapies, and pain management interventions.
✔ Educate patients and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
✔ Maintain accurate patient records and follow LDRP unit protocols.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active North Dakota RN License or Compact License.
✅ Minimum of 2 years of LDRP, L&D, or Mother-Baby experience.
✅ Current BLS, ACLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certifications (American Heart Association).
Preferred:
✔ Experience in high-risk deliveries and neonatal care.
✔ Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills.
✔ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment.
