About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a 13-week contract in Glens Falls, NY. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment, delivering high-quality care to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients.
✔ Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient conditions.
✔ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
✔ Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and recovery.
✔ Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active and unrestricted New York RN license.
✅ Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg nursing experience.
✅ Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
Preferred:
✔ Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
✔ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
✔ Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
