Location: Keene, NH
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $55–$60/hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Keene, NH. This is a night shift position (12 hours) on a fast-paced Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit
- Monitor patient status and assess their condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of New Hampshire (or compact license)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
