About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a 13-week contract in Rock Island, IL. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, providing high-quality patient care to those recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients.
✔ Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient conditions.
✔ Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
✔ Educate patients and families about post-hospital care and recovery.
✔ Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active and unrestricted Illinois RN license.
✅ Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg nursing experience.
✅ Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
Preferred:
✔ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
✔ Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
