Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' wounds to determine appropriate care plans.
- Administer wound care treatments and dressings according to established protocols.
- Perform IV insertion and manage intravenous therapy as needed.
- Collect specimens for laboratory processing and ensure proper handling.
- Provide triage services to prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care practices and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Assist in pediatric wound care, demonstrating sensitivity to the unique needs of younger patients.
- Utilize sonography techniques when necessary for assessment purposes.
Experience
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical setting focused on wound care. Experience with the following skills is highly desirable:
- IV insertion
