Telemetry Monitor Technician
Location: Gilbert, AZ
Shift: 12-Hour Days
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $30 - $35 per hour
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Telemetry Monitor Technician for a 13-week assignment in Gilbert, AZ. The ideal candidate will be experienced in interpreting cardiac rhythms and alerting healthcare staff to changes in patient conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms on telemetry monitors.
- Recognize and report abnormalities or significant changes to nursing and medical staff promptly.
- Accurately document patient cardiac rhythms and events.
- Maintain telemetry equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Telemetry Technician or EKG Technician training program preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Proven experience as a telemetry monitor tech or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
