Job Opportunity: NM-X-Ray Tech (OR)
Location:
Presbyterian Hospital – 1100 Central Ave. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106
Position Details:
- Department: Radiology – Operating Room
- Shift: 10/12-hour varied shifts (including weekends & holidays as needed)
- Experience Required: 2 years, must have completed at least one previous 13-week travel assignment
- Previous Travel Experience Preferred
- Charting System: EPIC (experience preferred)
- State License Details: Must be currently active (NM state license required)
- Bilingual: No
Certifications:
- Required: Primary ARRT certification, NM state license, Current BLS
- Preferred: ARRT (CT) certification
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic procedures for a large, fast-paced OR department
- Adapt to high-volume, high-intensity work environment
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and imaging best practices
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
Scheduling & Requirements:
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
- Holiday Coverage Required: Yes
- Float Requirements: First to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles (Rust Medical Center & Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital)
- Scrub Requirements: Required but not provided by the facility
- Travel Pairs: Not guaranteed same schedules or shifts
Additional Submission Requirements:
- Two references (one must be from current manager)
- Resume and completed skills checklist/competency assessment
- Time-off requests must be submitted with the initial application (no RTO requests will be approved after acceptance)
