Job Description
Stern Agency Inc. is a family run commercial lines insurance agency servicing the greater New York area for over 35 years. We are currently looking for a detailed oriented individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills to join our team. Position Summary:
- Answer incoming calls from both current and potential clients
- Handle customer requests promptly
- Communicate via email to clients
- Update client information
- Create certificates and binders of insurance
- Process billing and/or policy changes
- Send out policy information to clients
- Other tasks as assigned by brokers
- Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills a must
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Goal orientated and organized
- Self-starter
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associates/ bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior experience in insurance preferred
