What do we need?
We are looking for a full-time Talent Management Intern to join us for the summer to support our HR Manager, Benefits & Wellness Manager, and Staff Recruiting Manager. The Intern will provide administrative support to the firm’s Human Resources, Benefits, and Staff Recruiting teams and develop a working knowledge of Talent Management practices in the legal field. This position requires strong attention to detail, proficient communication skills, and organizational skills. This role requires in-office presence 4-5 days a week through the summer.
How will you make an impact?
- Collaborating with the Human Resources, Benefits, and Staff Recruiting teams to execute assigned projects.
- Learning about the employee engagement process by leading some events for the Intern Program.
- Contributing to HR and Benefits audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Assisting Benefits Manager with Wellness Program events.
- Handling ordering gifts for employees as needed.
- Conducting reference checks for the Staff Recruiting team.
- Maintaining and updating HR, Benefits, and Staff Recruiting spreadsheets and databases.
- Assisting other Talent Management teams with additional overflow projects and tasks, as needed.
What will you bring to the role?
- Prior office experience preferred.
- Interest in developing Human Resources knowledge.
- A can-do attitude. You take on projects enthusiastically and always drive results for yourself and the team.
- High attention to detail.
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills to allow you to converse over email and phone with employees, and external vendors.
- Strong administrative and Office Suite skills.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality in handling sensitive firm and employee information.
The pay rate for Talent Management Interns is $17.50 per hour.
