Job Summary :
The e-Commerce Account Manager will oversee and collaborate with internal teams and outside agencies to optimize the Scentsationals & Sterno brand's presence and performance on Amazon. This role focuses on strategy, data analysis, and inventory management to effectively execute sales, advertising, and operational goals. The ideal candidate has experience with Amazon Vendor and Seller Central, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive sales growth through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Account Management :
Provide strategic direction for both brands to ensure alignment with brand and sales goals.
Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and agencies to manage the Amazon account effectively.
2. Sales & Performance Analysis :
Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
Develop and communicate strategies to meet sales targets and profitability goals.
Monitor the competitive landscape and suggest adjustments to pricing strategies.
3. Product Listings & Optimization :
Partner with agencies to ensure product listings are optimized for discoverability and conversion.
Review keyword strategies and ensure SEO best practices are implemented on product pages.
Ensure accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and enhanced content.
4. Advertising & Promotions :
Work with agencies to plan and optimize Amazon Advertising campaigns (PPC, DSP, etc.).
Coordinate promotional activities, including lightning deals, coupons, and seasonal campaigns.
Review campaign performance and provide recommendations to maximize ROI and profitability.
5. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination :
Collaborate with internal operations teams and agencies to manage inventory levels effectively.
Ensure demand forecasting and inventory planning align with sales goals and avoid stockouts or overstock.
Resolve supply chain or logistical challenges with Amazon.
6. Reporting & Insights :
Regularly review performance reports and insights provided by Amazon and agencies.
Present key findings and actionable recommendations to leadership.
Monitor KPIs, including sales trends, ad performance, and operational efficiency.
7. Brand Representation :
Collaborate with Marketplace Valet to protect and enhance the Scentsationals & Sterno branding on Amazon.
Monitor and address customer reviews and feedback, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Experience : 5 years of experience managing Amazon accounts (Vendor or Seller Central).
Experience working with third-party e-commerce partners is a plus.
Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with Amazon tools (Vendor / Seller Central, AMS, etc.).
Knowledge of e-commerce SEO and PPC strategies. Excellent communication and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
