Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Steuben Center. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for observing residents in assigned units, reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse, and taking care of residents' personal hygiene. You will also set up meal trays, document food/fluid intake, feed residents, and serve nutritional supplements. Additionally, you will make beds, keep residents' spaces clean and tidy, transport residents within the facility, turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores, and maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the sponsored CNA program
- Valid NY State CNA certification
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be in good standing with the state registry
- Must have a diploma or GED
- Ability to work as a team member
