What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Assistant-After School position at Steuben County Literacy Coalition?
A B.A.S.E. (Best After School Enrichment) Camp Instructional Assistant provides the bulk of direct instruction with elementary and middle school students. Each Instructional Assistant will provide a safe, varied & stimulating environment to foster students’ measurable learning gains. Hours of the program are Monday-Thursday from approximately 2:30/3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Instructional Assistants will work up to 14 hours each week at $15 to $17 per hour depending on education and experience.
Job requirements:
Prior instructional assistant experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years college experience/Parapro certification or a willingness to acquire this certification with Steuben County Literacy Coalition’s assistance is required.
Position available at Fremont Elementary/Middle School.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
