What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Packaging Technician position at Steuben Foods?
Education/Prerequisite Requirements:
- Associates Degree in one of the Engineering disciplines or equivalent related fields or life work experience equivalence and/or Completing the Apprentice Program
- 1-3 years maintenance mechanic experience in a related field
- Liquid food packaging and processing experience or equivalent
Equipment/Training Knowledge:
- Supervision at 100%
- Successful competition of 90 day familiarization; additional 90 day (supervised) maintenance experience at Steuben Foods Inc.
- Packaging machinery and packaging line machinery repairs, PM and trouble-shooting
- Mentoring on Tetra Pak, SIG, JBT Bottle, Evergreen or Elopak distributing Equipment
- Mentoring on Robotic and Alvey Palletizer Equipment
Schedule:
- Availability after-hours
- Shift assigned or flexible schedule based on need

- Maintenance Processes & Procedures (admin)
- Maintenance Programs execution
- Performs any other duties as assigned
