**Higher pay rates available for those with leadership experience or special licenses (Starting at $25 per hour)**
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate backhoes, excavators, and other heavy machinery to complete tasks on construction sites.
- Prepare and maintain equipment before and after use, ensuring all machinery is in good working order.
- Assist with site preparation, digging, trenching, grading, and other excavation-related tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Lead and manage laborers on-site as needed, offering guidance and direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment (backhoes, excavators, rollers, etc.) is required.
- CDL or other relevant certifications/licenses are a plus and may increase starting wage.
- Leadership experience is a bonus, with a higher pay rate available for those who demonstrate strong supervisory skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a variety of weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Pay Structure:
- Starting wage: $20 per hour
- Pay rate is dependent on experience and qualifications.
