Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the head chef or kitchen supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes and bussing tables.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any inquiries or concerns related to their dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and assist customers.
- A background in hospitality or culinary arts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial for maintaining health standards within the kitchen.
