Deli Associate

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team! The right candidate must excel in customer service, be able to multi-task, and have an eye for detail. As this is a multi-faceted position you will receive cashier, deli, and produce training with the understanding that you may be scheduled in different departments throughout the week. This is a great opportunity for those seeking variety in their job. Weekend availability is a must. Weekday availability a plus.

Summary
As a Deli team member, you will be at the forefront of our fast-paced and customer-focused environment. Utilizing core skills in POS systems, cash handling, and customer service, you will efficiently process transactions, prepare deli sandwiches, and provide exceptional service to our customers. Your premium skills in food preparation, time management, and upselling will enhance the overall customer experience and drive sales. With relevant skills in sanitation, basic math, and kitchen experience, you will contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner

- Prepare and serve deli products and specialty items

- Operate a deli slicer, scales, and other equipment safely

- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained/

- Keep the deli clean, organized and well stocked.

- Operate POS system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and resolving inquiries.
- Handle cash transactions, maintain cash register, and reconcile cash drawers.
- Utilize sales techniques to upsell products and increase overall sales.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
