What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front and Back of House Team Member position at Steve's Meltdown?
Steve’s Meltdown has rapidly outgrown its “Ghost Kitchen” status and is now in a brick and mortar location in the City Foundry! We are currently seeking individuals to work shifts at this awesome new location located in Midtown STL.
*Our Ideal Candidate*:
Our ideal candidate will have some food preparation and food safety knowledge. If they do not have this specific knowledge, they will be eager to learn. Will be a hard worker, will be quality-oriented and interested in being a part of the larger mission/vision of HuSTL Hospitality - to create a FUN food and event experiences that build community, celebrate St. Louis and push the envelope creatively.
This role is that of a “Utility Player” meaning that not only will this person take orders directly from customers and work with the POS, they will also be responsible for preparing the signature sandwiches and soups in line with our specific recipes and standards. Must be 18 to apply.
*Pay*
This role pays $11/hour as a base plus a share of tips with a minimum guarantee of $4/hour tip income. Most team members average about $17.00/hour.
After 1 year, eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO) - ask for details.
Personal Performance Bonuses are available monthly for all kitchen team members who demonstrate work ethic, positive attitude, reliability, attention to quality, detail and checklists/standards.
