We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Equipment Specialist to join our team at Steven Charles in Pembroke, NC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Equipment Specialist is responsible for identifying and repairing mechanical, minor electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration defects. You will coordinate and prioritize assigned daily workload for the Maintenance Shift Team, effectively complete PMs as scheduled to eliminate unplanned downtime, and participate in RCA on equipment and process failures.

- Mentor junior technicians on maintenance practices and all technical disciplines needed in order to be successful as a technician.
You will work well in a team environment and understand that the team is stronger as a unified group versus a team of individuals. You will utilize the continuous improvement mindset and tools to actively participate in identifying and correcting opportunities, improving processes, including participation in the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, the creation and maintenance of preventative maintenance standards, the writing of One Point Lessons, and participation in continuous improvement methodology events.
You must have 15 industrial mechanical experience or a two-year technical degree preferred. You must be able to read, write, and speak English; it is preferred if you can read, write, and speak English and Spanish. You must successfully complete HACCP Certification, have a Forklift License, and have fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics, and mechanical drawings in order to solve problems in a timely manner at the component level on all assigned equipment.
