Dessert Holdings is looking for a Process Lead (part of a line-centric leadership team) to work as part of a team to achieve breakthrough results by elevating a production line and building technical capability, particularly through mastery of process control. Working under the Operations Line Leader, this individual will support the line/area by driving out top losses across a 24-hour production line, through ownership of data integrity and process centerlines. Leveraging the discipline of continuous improvement tools and a servant-leader mentality, this individual will coach team members to build up capability of the team and eliminate losses.
Compensation Range: We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on your experience, skills, and education.
The Day-to-Day
- Using data and analysis, build up capability of the line team and maximize its output
- Lead identification of centerline targets, document standards, and coach the line team to identify problems and execute improvements
- Identify and address safety risks related to equipment and changeover activity
- Apply advanced data analysis tools to expose and eliminate losses
- Lead the team in closing the gap against specific metrics to improve timeliness and success of changeovers
- Partner with other team leaders to identify and solve problems
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a strong preference for Engineering degree
- At least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience
- Advanced data analysis, statistical, and mathematical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems and familiarity with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices to ensure safety and quality
- Shift flexibility including extended hours, weekends or holidays as needed
