Steven Fox Jewelry is a high-end luxury store that has been in business in Greenwich, CT, for 40 years and has a wide and loyal following. The store has a warm, luxurious, and bespoke atmosphere where every customer is treated like the precious items we sell. The store features rare and collectible estate jewelry and one-of-a-kind coveted jewelry made by Steven Fox. Besides the jewelry we sell in our appealing storefront, we design and hand craft custom jewelry, and welcome jewelry repairs in our on-site workshop. Our team of salespeople and all the employees at Steven Fox Jewelry are known for their stellar customer service, which is one of our most important assets.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a talented and dynamic sales professional for a full or part-time position at a prestigious retail jewelry store in Greenwich, CT. Individual should be a natural people person who believes in providing exceptional customer service to our clients with the upmost professionalism and care. Previous experience in a retail environment with a focus on luxury client service, a plus. Jewelry experience not required but must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and a team player. Exceptional working environment. 401 (k) matching. Yearly Bonus based on performance. $25.00-35.00 per hour depending on experience.

DAY-TO-DAY TASKS

• The day-to-day tasks at Steven Fox Jewelry vary according to the changing needs of a small store. Below are a few examples of some of the tasks.

• Present merchandise on the store sales floor to high-end clients in a manner that reflects the store brand.

• Ring up jewelry sales, email clients, and other miscellaneous computer work. Follow-up with each sale with a thank you note and other customer service tasks.

• Follow-up on all detail work regarding jewelry on floor to include such things as tagging jewelry, yearly inventory, and following up on all website and/or 1stDibs revisions once a piece of jewelry is sold.

• Work with clients on taking in repairs of their jewelry and following up on all details of that repair afterwards.

• Working with the owner of the store and clients on any custom jewelry and following up on all details of its progression.

• Work with clients that are selling jewelry to the store and following up on any details of that purchase.

• Answer the store phone and follow-up on all details regarding those calls.
