The Production Assembler performs semi-repetitive tasks that require intermediate skills and job experience. Approximately one year of related work is preferred. This role involves working from simple drawings, diagrams, specifications, or similar work requiring considerable physical effort. Work is normally performed under close supervision.
Schedule:
1st shift: 6 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday
2nd shift: 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm Monday-Thursday

Requirements:
- Requires knowledge acquired through a high school diploma/GED.
- Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to read materials to understand and apply content such as manuals, procedure manuals, or assembly materials.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Ability to write to accomplish tasks such as completing forms or communicating simple instructions.
- Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and metrics.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks assigned by others with occasional direction.
- Ability to communicate to explain or interpret well-defined business issues or procedures, following established patterns.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Providing assistance and cooperation with fellow associates.
- FOLLOWING standard operating procedures and safety rules.
- BASIC mechanical skills, use of hand tools, measuring devices, and power tools once trained.
- Understanding the metric system and use of tape measures.
- Ability to work together as a team to achieve productivity goals.
- Manual dexterity and good eye/hand coordination.
- Physical ability to meet demands of the position including standing, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling and overall physical strength and dexterity.
- Will to cross train for different job tasks in the area.
