POSITION OVERVIEW :
We are seeking a seasoned and motivated Estimator to join our growing preconstruction team in Orlando, FL. This role involves preparing cost estimates, analyzing blueprints, developing bid strategies, and presenting to owners and architects to ensure competitive, comprehensive bids. If you have a strong foundation in construction estimating and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Pre-Award Management :
- Conduct jobsite visits to assess construction methods, conditions, and develop a competitive bid approach.
- Perform quantity take-offs utilizing PlanSwift, Destini, and similar estimating software.
- Solicit and review proposals from subcontractors and vendors.
- Organize and conduct pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs with subcontractors.
- Review and select subcontractor / vendor proposals for incorporation into bid proposals.
