StevenDouglas has partnered with a Miami based Commercial Builder with decades of experience building High End Luxury buildings across the state.
Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Accounting professional with a minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including 5 years with a GC or developer.
Responsibilities:
🔹 Lead the full accounting function for multiple commercial projects
🔹 Own monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting—giving leadership a clear line of sight into performance.
🔹 Drive project-level budgeting, forecasting, and job costing
🔹 Oversee A/P, A/R, and billing with speed and accuracy.
🔹 Partner closely with PMs to monitor budgets, control costs, and maximize financial outcomes.
🔹 Ensure full compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and construction industry standards.
🔹 Lead payroll and labor compliance across projects and teams.
🔹 Prepare for audits and coordinate with external auditors like a pro.
🔹 Implement best-in-class policies and processes to boost accuracy and efficiency.
🔹 Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to drive smart, data-backed decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 8 years accounting experience with minimum of 5 years in construction accounting
- Proficient in SAGE 300 (Timberline)
Compensation:
$150,000-$165,000 Bonus
