We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic interim Human Resources Specialist to support our team in Florence, Kentucky. This role will focus on onboarding, training, employee engagement, and administrative HR functions, with a strong emphasis on Excel-based data reporting for leadership. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, data-savvy, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Training
- Manage the new hire onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for employees.
- Conduct orientation sessions and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate and track training sessions, compliance requirements, and certifications.
Employee Engagement & HR Support
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Support HR leadership in retention strategies and recognition programs.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a supportive environment.
- Assist with performance management processes and feedback collection.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Utilize Excel and HR systems to track and analyze HR metrics.
- Prepare data-driven reports on employee trends, engagement, training, and retention.
- Present findings to leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in processing HR paperwork, benefits enrollment, and compliance documents.
- Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes and efficiencies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in HR, onboarding, training, or a related role.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization, and reporting).
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret HR metrics and trends.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage employees at all levels.
- Experience with HRIS systems and other HR tools preferred.
