Temporary
River Falls School District is seeking an energetic, innovative, and student-centered educator to join our dedicated team as a full-time Art Teacher at River Falls High School. This role will be a long term substitute position for approximately 42 days with the potential to extend longer.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach art to high school students in grades 9-12.
Create a dynamic, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to support students' academic and personal growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience contributing to student growth outside the classroom through coaching, advising, or extracurricular activities (multiple coaching and advising opportunities are available).
A valid Wisconsin teacher license for grades 9-12 in art or the ability to obtain one prior to the start date.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
Demonstrated experience working effectively with high school students.
A commitment to fostering curiosity, responsibility, and academic excellence in students.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
