Assistant Food Production Manager

The Verona Area School District is seeking applicants for the following position.

Assistant Food Production Manager (the job description can be found here)

.94 FTE, 37.5 hours per week

Duties include but are not limited to: assist with duties to plan, coordinate, and supervise the preparation of food; preparation and serving of nutritious food to students, staff and other customers; operating computer or other device to record food purchased; responsible for ordering and storing of food and supplies; assisting with dish washing and cleanup of kitchen and cafeteria; training food service staff and other duties as assigned

Prefer high school education, requires ability to read, write and perform basic math. Prior training or education in sanitation, food handling procedures, quantity cooking or customer service is desired but not required
1-6 months prior experience in food preparation/baking/serving is desired, but not required
Bilingual (Spanish) skills are prioritized
