Assistant Girls Soccer Coach
SPASH
These coaches will be responsible to the athletic director, and the varsity head coach of the respective sport. They will assist the varsity head coach in providing leadership and direction to the sports program as it exists in grades 7-12. It is essential that they present themselves as models for athletes in terms of exemplary appearance, character, and sportsmanship. The head coach will evaluate all assistant coaches.
Assumes the duties of the varsity head coach in his/her absence. Performing and assisting in all duties assigned to and by the varsity head coach. Communicating with the varsity head coach concerning any facet of that sport program. Make a persistent effort to keep current as to the appropriate coaching methodologies. Assist the head coach with the inventory and the selection of new supplies and equipment. Also, help with the issuance and collection of equipment.

Qualifications
Required:
1-3 years of experience coaching soccer at the high school level (head coaching experience preferred).
Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.
Must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.
Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Head Coaches, school administrators, opponents, staff, parents, and student.
1-3 years of experience coaching soccer at the high school level (head coaching experience preferred).
