Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
A thorough knowledge and understanding of the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program requirements and
regulations, including record keeping and accountability.
Knowledge of safety and sanitation requirements, food purchasing, receiving, food storage, inventories and equipment
operation.
Good recordkeeping, math, decision-making and communication skills.
Supervisory experience and/or training.
Strong team building skills.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED and minimal experience, working knowledge of the NSLP rules and regulations, or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
This work requires the regular exertion of up to 10 pounds of force, frequent exertion of up to 25 pounds of force and occasional
exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires standing and walking, frequently requires reaching with hands and
arms and pushing or pulling and occasionally requires sitting, speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel, climbing
or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, tasting or smelling, lifting and repetitive motions; no special vision is
required; no special vocal communication skills are required; no special hearing perception is required; this work does not
require any specialized sensory utilization.
