Position Summary:
To develop in each student skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in the world language; to develop appreciation of other cultures as well as our own; to discover and develop special talents of students in the field of world language.
ASSIGNMENT SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Teaches content and skills in the world language and culture, utilizing course of study adopted by the Board of Education and other appropriate learning activities.
- Encourages students to develop global awareness.
- Evaluates each student's progress in world language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
Qualifications:
Possess a valid Wisconsin Teaching License for grades 9-12 in the assigned area of teaching.
Experience: Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work well with students, administrators, staff and the community.
Such qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate.
