Description
The Prentice School District is seeking a high school/middle school science teacher to join our science department. The ideal candidate is someone who can create an engaging, hands-on learning environment that spurs student interest and inquiry in the area of science. Opportunities to work with post-secondary partners is also available.
This position is for the 2025-2026 school year and will include teaching courses in Chemistry, STEM, and a life science class. Other electives could be added to fit the candidate’s strength and interests. Strong communication skills and collaborative strengths are helpful for success in this role.
The School District of Prentice is located in North Central Wisconsin. The district prides itself on small class sizes, good facilities, and the ability to work collaboratively as a staff on what is best for the students. The 400 student PK-12 campus and diversity of the area's geography makes for limitless learning opportunities.
The Prentice area is known as an outdoor paradise. It has numerous recreational activities due to its proximity to lakes, forests, ski and snowmobile trails, hiking trails, and golf courses. The area is ideal for year round recreational opportunities that tie in with the community support and interests.
