BOYS GOLF COACH– JV
JOB LOCATION: Watertown High School
DATES: March 31st, 2025- June 10th, 2025
SALARY: Extra-Curricular Salary Compensation Schedule - Category 9 - $2,525 - $3,325
JOB DESCRIPTION: The district is a member of the Badger Conference and provides student athletes
with an excellent opportunity to be a member of the swim program. Watertown
High School is the 50th largest school district in the state, a school of over 1,300
students that has a full range of athletic opportunities for the students including
an excellent Fitness Center.
QUALIFICATIONS: The District believes athletics to be an extension of the classroom. Coaches
perform a wide variety of duties related to their athletes. This position requires
the coach to communicate well and have patience in working with a team of high school athletes to produce success:
- Coordinate and supervise practices after school;
- Coordinate and supervise athletes at matches and invitationals;
- Participation in golf events including series leading to state.
Previous high school coaching experience is preferred. This coaching position requires applicants to possess:
- Strong knowledge of all facets of the sport;
- A student athlete focus;
- The ability to motivate student athletes to improve their golf skills;
- The ability to create a positive environment for athletes;
- Have certification in Basic First Aid, CPR and AED (or willing to
secure certification prior to the start of the season);
- Work with and follow directives of the head coach;
- The ability to work with other coaches and Athletic Director.
