Description
Coulee Christian School in West Salem, WI is hiring a part-time K-4 Physical Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Coulee Christian School is a private, Christian school serving grades 3K-12 with campuses in West Salem & Onalaska, WI. Coulee Christian School exists to intentionally and lovingly equip students to live life on the EDGE-Educated, Driven, God-Centered & Engaged. Applicants must have a four year degree, preferably in education, from an accredited college or university. Applicants must agree with the school's Statement of Belief as outlined on the school's website and must be willing to provide a written testimony of faith and pass a background check.
The Physical Education teacher is responsible for organizing innovative games and activities that promote physical activity among K-4th grade students. The goal is to develop motor skills, knowledge of rules of games and sports, & develop an understanding of health life practices for general health and well-being.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Spiritually
The individual shall possess characteristics that reflect the following:

A strong, clear Christian testimony
A mature, godly spirit
A person of faith and prayer
A broad acceptance of and by the evangelical Christian community
Strong knowledge and understanding of Scripture
Active involvement in his or her local church
A servant leader
Professionally
The following shall characterize the individual:
Experience teaching or coaching children
Effectiveness in oral and written communication
Openness to new ideas, initiatives, and concepts in education
Engagement in continuing education and professional development
Language Standards:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand spoken English
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education
Experience teaching students in a formal, educational setting
