GRACE is looking for a Long term 3rd Grade Substitute Teacher at Father Allouez Catholic School!
This position is responsible for fostering a safe, welcoming, positive learning environment for all students and co-workers and providing lessons that meet or exceed state, local, and school standards.
Essential Functions
Teach students scheduled material in their teacher's absence
Utilize classroom management skills to keep students on task
Handle any student outbursts according to school procedure
Provide a safe and effecctive learning environment for students
Work with staff in the building to keep students on schedule
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Submission to a legal background check
Excels in communication
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, and frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk. The employee will use the hands to feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally exert or lift up to 40 pounds. Successful performance requires specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision
