Full-time Middle School Art Teacher: The Art Department of the Prairie School seeks an energetic, outgoing professional to join our Middle School division. The position is designed to provide general introductory art to students in grades 5-8. The successful candidate must have experience with a wide variety of art media, a joyful growth mindset, possess a desire to collaborate with colleagues, and be able to engage and guide a diverse group of students to help develop and grow each student to his or her highest potential. Ideal candidates will also need knowledge of and experience using technology, including iPads in the classroom, and participate as an advisor to a small group of Middle School students.
Qualifications:
A degree in Art Education or a Bachelor of Fine Arts is required. Experience in digital photography is a plus.
A Masters Degree with teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
