Description
WFB School District is seeking exceptional substitutes for Special Education Aides for the 2024-2025 school year! Work the hours and days that fit into your schedule while helping support our excellent students and staff!
The selected candidates will assist students in supporting educational programming under the direction of the teacher. Duties may include:
- Attending to the healthcare/physical needs of students.
- Assist students with completion of assignments.
- Guide and supervise students, maintain a positive learning environment and maintain confidentiality.
- Work with students individually, in small groups and within the classroom.
- Maintain established routines and procedures
Reasonable and reliable attendance is a requirement of this position/job. The final candidate must successfully complete/pass a criminal background check, pre-employment requirements, and hiring paperwork. Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Special Education Aide License (#0070) or WI teaching license
- Willingness to obtain a Special Education Aide License. Cost is $100. https://dpi.wi.gov/licensing/apply-educator-license/special-ed-aide
