Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly influencing the safety behavior, driving performance and knowledge base of your fleet
- Reviewing contributing factors to accidents and violations to determine focus areas for remediation, prevention and risk management
- Addressing trending problem areas with timely coaching and intervention
- Responding to questions regarding policies, procedures, best practices, FMCSR/CSA interpretations, etc.
- Providing weather updates to drivers and office associates
- Setting up drug and alcohol screening as necessary
- Regular and ad-hoc reporting
Minimum Qualifications:
- In-depth working knowledge of all applicable safety rules and regulations
- Highly organized and communicative - must be able to interact effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
- Ability to perform in an environment with ambiguous situations, rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines
- Proven record of making well-informed decisions in both routine and emergency situations
