What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Team Member/Warehouse position at STEVES AND SONS INC?
Our company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Worker to carry out various production tasks in the manufacturing environment of our busy warehouse. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical and construction experience, excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment directly to the supervisors. All qualified, responsible applicants are encouraged to apply. If a candidate is inexperienced in mechanical and construction areas, we can offer training.
- Feed materials into production machinery
- Help Assemble material on production lines
- Carry out basic quality and testing checks
- Handle materials and store raw materials
- Pack Doors to be shipped
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Reads production tickets and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
- Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Perform these and other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
- Track production on schedule boards.
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
- Place finished materials on the designated pallet for shipping to customers
This is a Full-Time Position at our location on 203 Humble Ave, San Antonio, TX 78225
The expected work hours are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Saturday Overtime may be required and will be assigned according to production needs
