Position Overview:
Stewart-Amos Equipment Co. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Representative to lead our street sweeper sales efforts primarily across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In this role, you will be at the forefront of promoting our reliable and efficient street sweepers, targeting municipalities, contractors, and other key markets. By leveraging innovative marketing, lead generation tools, and intelligence platforms, you will focus on capturing high-value opportunities that yield maximum results with minimal time investment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Identify and target high-impact opportunities within the designated region, using data-driven insights and intelligence tools to prioritize leads.
- Deliver compelling presentations and equipment demonstrations tailored to client needs, highlighting the features, benefits, and value of our products.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout.
- Market Development:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns and outreach efforts with regional sales objectives.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including municipal decision-makers, contractors, and industry influencers.
- Lead Management:
- Utilize CRM platforms for meticulous lead tracking, customer engagement, and sales activity documentation.
- Develop a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring consistent progress toward sales targets.
- Collaboration & Feedback:
- Work closely with the National Sales Manager to align on strategy, performance goals, and sales priorities.
- Provide actionable feedback from the field to support product development and marketing refinements.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales, ideally within industrial, construction, or heavy equipment markets. Experience selling to municipalities or contractors is a plus.
- Skilled in delivering effective equipment demonstrations, both independently and with technical support.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain lasting relationships.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and a commitment to maintaining accurate sales records.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or a willingness to develop technical knowledge of the equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
