Crane Operator (Heavy Friction Cranes) - Marine Construction
Summary Description : The primary function of the Crane Operator is to operate heavy friction cranes on barges and on land.
Worksite Location(s) : Most of our work is performed at remote worksites along the Mississippi River, south of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, or at our own yard in Harvey, Louisiana, but we sometimes operate in other geographical areas.
Company Description : Stewart Construction, LLC provides a wide variety of industrial and marine construction services, including the fabrication, assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of docks, wharfs, pilings, dolphins, fender systems, coffer dams, intake and outtake systems, ship and barge material handling systems, and other, similar systems and structures, as well as demolition and removal services.
Minimum Qualifications :
- 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to travel to remote worksites on a regular and ongoing basis.
- Must pass a drug-screen.
- Must pass a background investigation.
- Must pass a fit-for-duty examination.
- Eligible to enroll in the DISA program.
- NCCCCO Crane Certification with a Lattice Boom Crawler (LBC) or Lattice Boom Crane (LAT) designation.
- TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
