Roofing Foreman

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Roofing Forman to join our team. This position is in-the-field working hand in hand with our existing crew, and responsible for managing roofing projects from start to finish to ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Train, supervise, and mentor field personnel focusing on excellence, teamwork and safety, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Planning and Scheduling: Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
• Project Leadership: Lead and manage roofing projects, from start to finish, ensuring they meet or exceed quality, safety, and schedule expectations. All projects are to be performed in accordance with company policies, industry standards and local building codes.
• Permitting and Regulations: Ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, and regulations, securing all necessary approvals for roofing projects.
• Maintain Safety Excellence: Enforce safety protocols consistently to uphold a secure job site.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve project-related issues proactively, making informed decisions to keep projects on track.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation as needed, including daily reports, timesheets and change order data.
• Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience working with shingle, metal, tile, flat and torch down roofing systems. In-depth knowledge of those roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on supervisory experience in the roofing industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and team members effectively.
• Physical ability to walk roofs, climb ladders, and lift over 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Understanding of local building codes, permits, and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional project planning and organizational abilities.
• A valid Florida driver’s license and clean record
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
