Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, management, and execution of metal fabrication projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and specifications for metal construction projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and architects to create project drawings and specifications.
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.
- Supervise and manage project teams, including fabricators, welders, and subcontractors, to ensure quality standards and safety guidelines are upheld.
- Conduct risk assessments for projects and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenditures and ensuring that the project remains within financial constraints.
- Liaise with quality control personnel to ensure that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors, and maintain positive relationships with them.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards in the metal construction industry.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on project status, challenges, and outcomes.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the metal fabrication or construction industry
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software
- Proven track record of managing all phases of project life cycle, from concept to completion
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of applicable codes, health and safety regulations
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel as needed for project supervision and client meetings
- Experience with contract management and vendor negotiations
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Understanding of Lean principles and practices in manufacturing is a plus
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
