Our CRNA Practice at a Critical Access Hospital is looking to hire a 3rd CRNA. Expanding services with bread-and-butter cases. General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Urology, OB, ENT, and Cataracts. Complete autonomy. Looking for CRNA with 1-2 years’ experience that is confident and proficient with general and regional anesthesia skills. This is a rotating schedule with call that is shared with other CRNA’s. Will be responsible for evaluating and administering anesthetics to all ages.
FULL TIME POSITION
Rotating schedule with another seasoned CRNA
17 weeks call and 17 weeks off.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a CRNA, you will perform preoperative and postoperative patient evaluations of all ages that include general and regional anesthesia. This position has complete autonomy and handles the care coordination to administer the anesthetic plan related to all anesthesia procedures.
Other responsibilities include:
- Conduct and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Participate and be available for committees related to anesthesia
- Call coverage (30 minute responses time)
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- NBCRNA Certified
- Current Iowa CRNA License
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications (either have or willing to obtain)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Regional Anesthesia skills preferred
