Stewart Shop's is a stable and growing convenience store business located in New York and southern Vermont with over 350 locations. Our “Food to Go” program is fast growing as we provide food options both prepared fresh in our shops and produced in our plant central kitchen. We are hiring Regional Food Service Coordinators to support this growth.
Duties:
• Train and mentor shop personnel on food service standards.
• Perform and follow up on food safety inspections.
• Schedule and train new product and equipment installations.
• Support remodel, rebuild and new shop set up.
• Follow up with NYS Agriculture & Markets inspections.
• Teach various seminars and required NYS food safety classes.
• Any other duties to support shops as needed.
Requirements:
• Food service experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated.
• Ability to teach, train, and give feedback in real time.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Travel to Warren, Clinton, Hamilton, Essex, and Franklin counties and other areas as needed.
Schedule:
• Full time position.
• Flexible schedule to include mornings, nights, and weekends.
• Starting pay is $21/hour, pay varies with experience.
