What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Technician position at Stewart's Shops?
We are eager to expand our maintenance team in our Distribution & Manufacturing Center located in Saratoga Springs, NY. Our ideal candidate will possess an electrical skillset and can work in a fast-paced environment while communicating effectively.
Duties:
• Offer direct support to multiple production departments.
• Communicate and collaborate with various personnel professionally.
• Stay up to date with developments in technology to constantly improve processes.
• Complete work timely and accurately while following Good Manufacturing Processes.
Requirements:
• Troubleshooting knowledge of:
-Wiring
-I/O devices
-Relays/Contactors
-AC & DC drives
-Motion control devices
• Familiarity with:
-Hydraulics
-Pneumatics
-Mechanical power transmission.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Electrical background including trade school preferred, although daily work will cover all facets of production.
• Relevant industry experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being safety conscious.
• Ability to work in a wet environment with a variety of temperatures and a moderate to loud noise level.
Schedule:
• Full time position available.
• Schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 7am-330pm, including some holidays.
• Bi-monthly weekend rotation required.
• Starting pay is $25-$28/hour.
• Earn an extra $1 for all hours worked on Sundays.
