We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at our Distribution Office & Manufacturing Plant in Saratoga Springs, NY. This position requires someone who is detail oriented and able to work independently to meet assigned deadlines. If you are looking for a great long-term growth opportunity, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities:
• Prepare weekly/monthly reporting used by management.
• Analyze financial and operational KPI’s on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Cost Accounting for our manufactured products.
• Prepare weekly/monthly account reconciliations to identify and explain variances.
• Assist with month end and year end close processes.
• Prepare and enter journal entries.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Five plus years of relevant accounting experience.
• CPA and/or master’s degree is preferred, but not required.
• Supervisory experience is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication ability with other departments to support operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Schedule & Pay:
• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, including some holidays.
• Starting Pay $70,000 - $90,000/year.
