Objective :
This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing value stream in the LED and Panels areas. Position is responsible for increasing productivity with innovative methods, reducing manufacturing costs and motivating staff to excel in performance.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet daily, weekly and monthly production goals.
- Collaborate with other Value Stream Supervisor to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, company policies and procedures for workers
- Conduct employee position training in equipment operations and safety procedures or assign employee training to experienced workers.
- Confer with management and / or subordinates to resolve worker problems or complaints.
- Determine standards, budgets, production goals, and rates based on company policies, equipment and labor availability.
- Recommend and execute personnel actions, such as hirings, evaluations and / or promotions.
- Learn and become proficient in all positions related to the department.
Knowledge :
Administration and Management- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.Production and Processing- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.Mechanical- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.Skills :

High School diploma or GED requiredAssociate of Applied Science in Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical, Engineering Technology or equivalent preferred.Minimum 2 years of Supervisor Experience preferred.3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Experience with ERP system and proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word preferred.Experience with EnRoute software and or CNC operations preferred.Experience with Adobe photoshop, illustrator, etc. software preferred.Other Physical / Mental Requirements :
